Melissa of Gregersen Photography has been photographing families at Lake Michigan for over 10 years. She loves to create photographs that will be loved and cherished for a lifetime as families come together and vacation in South Haven. Her most popular family sessions are her “morning beach sessions”. These sessions are so popular because her experience has shown that families with little children do not tolerate the late sunset sessions that are at 9:30pm, and are much more compliant in the mornings.
It never sounds fun to get up and be picture ready for an 8am session at the beach, however it is always worth it. She has found that 8am is the “sweet spot” for morning sessions as the sun is not high in the sky yet, so that helps people not struggle as much with squinty eyes and it being too bright, and also the beach area is quiet and usually empty so it is a great place to spend a morning together. Photography sessions are great for extended families as Melissa will photograph the whole group and then doing any combinations of families and family members that you would like to have. She wants to make sure you have lots of beautiful photographs to chose from, and remember this special time of your family’s life.

Session Fee: $175. Includes up to 40 minute photography session and a $75 credit will go towards the digital collection that you chose purchase above and beyond the session fee after you see all of the images. The gallery of images will be emailed for preview with in two weeks of the session. Families can then chose from two digital collections: 10 chosen images for $395 (only $320 with the credit!) or the complete set from the gallery for only $525 (only $445 with the credit). A typical gallery has about 40-50 images to chose from. Purchased images will be professionally edited, making sure they look as good as possible and ready to be printed and displayed in your homes.
Once the session is booked, we are happy to chat through all the fun details to make sure your session is all you hope it to be.
Cancellation Policy: The session fee is non-refundable. However we all know that Michigan weather is always unpredictable by Lake Michigan. We will always do our best to reschedule the session. If the weather and our schedules do not allow the session to happen, a refund will be given of the session fee.
