Meet Your Captain
Captain Eric Schippa is a 3rd generation charter fisherman from the port of Saugatuck Michigan. Few other fishermen have been fishing the port for as long or have the family history in the community of fisherman that Eric has behind him.

Eric began charter fishing with his dad, Kevin Schippa, at the age of seven during his summer break from school. At the age of 18, Eric got his US Coast Guard Captains License and bought his first charter boat. He has been a full-time charter captain ever since!

Eric is also a well-known tournament fisherman with multiple first place finishes and numerous top 5 finishes on the great lakes tournament circuit.

Captain Eric Schippa is the result of generations of fishing experience and knowledge on the great lakes that has culminated in the development of one of the best fishermen in West Michigan. Take advantage of this and book your next charter with him!



About Your Boat

The Blue Chip is a 31′ Tiara Open that offers a large heated cockpit and cabin as well as a bathroom for your comfort. The bathroom is a private, roomy, stand-up full bathroom.

Our vessel is equipped with the latest and greatest in electronics and fishing equipment to find the fish and for safe navigation. The boat is inspected by the Michigan DNR and is a licensed charter boar.

The 31′ Tiara is one of the most popular boats among great lakes fisherman for the deck space and ability to be set up effectively for fishing. It can safely handle any reasonable weather a prudent fisherman would want to go out in.

All the fishing equipment is already on board including downriggers, diver rigs, copper lines, and lead core to make sure any time the fish are biting we have the right equipment available. We are equipped to fish with downriggers, copper lines, lead core lines, divers, planer boards, and heck, if needed, a line and a bobber. We won’t ever not be able to catch fish because we don’t have the correct equipment.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Captain reserves all rights to reschedule trips due to weather or lake conditions. Trips cancelled by the Captain due to inclement weather will be rescheduled for a later date.

Customers may cancel or reschedule without penalty and for a full refund by notifying us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment or reservation time. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at 269-352-6696 (whatsapp or text) or email at mylakeshoreconcierge@gmail.com.  Cancellations less than 48 hours will result in a $300 charge and no shows or cancelled trips within 12 hours will be full c harge.

It is the customer's responsibility to take precautions for nausea (medications, wristbands, proper nutrition, etc.), to ensure they are capable of handling sea conditions that are charter worthy. Trips cancelled while on the water from customer’s request, result in full charter trip costs. Charter worthiness and fishability is determined by the Captain.
